Covid-19 brought us very challenging times which disrupted and changed the ways we related and lived,
We are happy to inform you of the new guidelines from the Archdiocese of Boston, that effective on May 29th 2021, masks are no longer required for vaccinated church goers. Also, they will no longer be required to maintain social distancing in the pews during the church services.
We understand that some people may prefer to take off their masks and sit near each other, while others may not feel comfortable dropping social distancing and taking off their masks. Anyone who wishes to continue to wear a mask is welcome to do so and can sit anywhere. We shall try to ensure that provisions are made so that the services in the Church will go smoothly.
The dispensation from the from the obligation for coming to Sunday Mass has not yet been lifted, and even when it is, if a parishioner is feeling ill, they should remain at home.
On behalf of the leadership teams, the Parish and Pastoral Councils, I would like to thank you for having observed the Covid-19 protocols during these very confusing and challenging times. Your cooperation made possible the proper care of one another. During this transition time of the lifting of restrictions, when we are all yearning for the return to normalcy, I am calling on you to strive to be on top of the guidelines.
