Message from Pastor

News February 23, 2021

Dear Parishioners,

As we have begun the 40 days of Lent, marked with snow, a bit of rain and cold days at times, I have come to appreciate how special this season is in preparation for celebrating well the Easter Feast.

Looking with appreciative eyes at the challenging moments during the past year, and which we still navigate through, I would like to express my gratitude for your great support and generosity to our Grand Annual. We reached our goal!

As for the inspiring Hope Campaign, we are still giving. To all of you who have been able to do so, I am truly grateful. Because we ran the Inspiring Hope Campaign last year, we did not do the Catholic Appeal in 2020, which is the Archdiocese Annual Fund which supports over 51 Central Ministries, pays for the Pastoral Center and its staff, and carries the Missions of Evangelization.

This year we are doing it. As such, I am again asking for your great generosity. For more information, please visit www.bostoncatholicappeal.org

As we all strive to turn closer to God this Lent and away from the things that distract us, let’s try to be mindful of all those in our parish and community who are in need of a kind word, something to eat, or some warm clothing, etc., and help to meet those needs through joyful almsgiving.

During Lent, we have the Stations of the Cross every Friday in both the Upper and Lower Churches at 7:00pm.

Once again, I would like to thank you for observing the safety protocols and guidelines during our Services, thus assuring the safety of each and every person during our worship.

Thank You and be safe.

Wishing you a happy and blessed Lent,

Fr. Chacha, SMA.
