As we prepare to celebrate Christmas and the New Year in the days to come, I want to take this opportunity to wish you every blessing while joining your families and friends to celebrate these wonderful moments!
Advent is slowly coming to a close. During that time, we tried to make a deep inner conversion, and share our love to our neighbors, in many different and personal ways.
I would like to thank all those who donated Christmas gifts and toys for our children, Stop & Shop or Market Basket gift Cards, warm hats, gloves, scarves and socks -all important items to share with our neighbors during this time. We are not able to hold the Christmas dinner this year but the gift cards will help our people to celebrate the season.
From January 2021 to date, we have all been trying to work together. With the support of the Financial, Pastoral and the Maintenance Teams, we planned and realized the care of the Spiritual and Material life of the Parish. I would like to thank you all for your support of the Evangelization activities at our Parish.
Recognizing the rising number of Covid-19 cases in Massachusetts and around the country with the new Omicron variants, we realize that we are not yet over the Covid19 crisis.
Effective last week, beginning the weekend of December 19th, Cardinal Sean O’Malley asked all those in Parishes within the Archdiocese of Boston to wear masks during Masses. I am asking you to strive to keep this in mind. When you are at a service, sit where you feel comfortable and wear your mask throughout the service.
On behalf of Fr. Gustavo Buccili SMA, and myself, I wish you all a Happy Christmas, and Prosperous Year 2022!
Fr. Chacha, SMA.
